Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 12, 2026
This policy explains how this website and initial inquiries to Jenny Korotkyi handle personal information. Jenny provides mortgage services through 1546664 Ontario Inc. operating as Mortgage Edge. The provincial registration details appear above and below each page.
Who to contact
For questions about this website, your inquiry, or service providers outside Canada, contact Jenny Korotkyi, mortgage professional and website contact, at jenny.korotkyi@gmail.com or 647 388 0452. To reach the brokerage about a mortgage file or its privacy practices, contact info@mortgageedge.ca, call 1-866-448-3343, or write to Mortgage Edge, Attention: Privacy Officer, 15 Wertheim Court, Suite 210, Richmond Hill, Ontario L4B 3H7.
When you browse
The website is hosted by Netlify. Delivering pages and protecting the service involves processing technical information such as your IP address, browser information, requested pages, and request times. Hosting logs and traffic statistics may be available to the hosting provider or website administrator. This is different from submitting a mortgage inquiry.
The website loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google to request font files. Those requests disclose technical connection information to Google. The website does not include advertising pixels, behavioural advertising, a newsletter subscription system, or its own analytics cookies. Hosting and third-party services have their own privacy practices.
Contact form and call requests
The form asks for your name, email address, optional phone number, topic, and optional message. It uses that information in your browser to prepare an email. Selecting “Prepare email” opens a draft in your email application; it does not send the message. You must review the draft and press Send in your email application.
The website has no form-submission database and does not upload these form fields to Netlify. Your browser or email application may retain drafts or autofill information according to its settings. Once you send an email, your email provider and the recipient’s email provider process it. Jenny’s displayed contact address uses Gmail.
Information you choose to send is used to respond to your inquiry, discuss your mortgage needs, and arrange a conversation. A call request is not a confirmed appointment. This form does not authorize a credit check, submit an application to a lender, or subscribe you to marketing messages.
Please keep the first message brief. Do not include a Social Insurance Number, banking credentials, identification documents, or detailed financial records. Ask Jenny for the brokerage’s approved method of providing documents if you decide to proceed.
Calculator information
The mortgage calculator performs calculations in your browser. Its mortgage amount, interest rate, amortization, and payment-frequency inputs are not submitted to Jenny or a lender by the calculator. The result is an illustration, not an assessment of your eligibility.
Service providers and processing outside Canada
Netlify provides hosting and delivery; Google provides the external fonts and Gmail email service used for inquiries. These providers operate internationally, and information may be processed outside Canada, including in the United States, where foreign laws may permit access by courts, law enforcement, or other authorities. The providers’ infrastructure and processing locations can change.
You can contact Jenny using the details above to request information about policies and practices concerning overseas service providers and to direct questions to Mortgage Edge’s privacy contact. See Netlify’s privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy for their published practices. Your own browser and email provider are also subject to their respective policies.
If you apply for a mortgage
A mortgage application involves additional personal and financial information and separate brokerage procedures. These may include identity verification, income and property records, credit information, lender submissions, disclosures about compensation and relationships, and legally required records or reports. The applicable purposes and consents must be addressed through the brokerage’s application process; this website form is not a substitute.
Read Mortgage Edge’s privacy policy and the notices and authorizations supplied for your application. A website inquiry does not provide blanket consent to disclose financial information to lenders or credit bureaus.
Retention and safeguards
Inquiry correspondence is handled through the recipient’s email and brokerage processes. Retention depends on the purpose of the communication, whether it becomes part of a mortgage file, and applicable legal or regulatory requirements. There is no fixed automatic deletion period promised by this website. You can ask the contacts above about the records held about you and the retention rules that apply.
Information must be protected with safeguards appropriate to its sensitivity. Ordinary email is not a document-upload portal, and no internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Please report a suspected privacy or security problem using the contact details above.
Your choices, access, and corrections
You can choose to call instead of using the form. You may request access to personal information held about you, correction of inaccuracies, information about its use or disclosure, or withdrawal of consent where permitted. Requests may require verification of your identity. Access, correction, withdrawal, and deletion requests are subject to applicable exceptions and record-retention obligations; withdrawing consent may limit the services that can be provided.
Applicable privacy law can include Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), depending on the activity. PIPEDA can apply to commercial information flows across provincial or national borders. You can raise a concern with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or Alberta’s Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner, as applicable.
